Proton seeks RM2.35b funding to revive Lotus


NORWICH: Proton Holdings Bhd is in talks with CIMB Bank and several others to secure loans and investments totalling 480mil (RM2.35bil) needed to turn around Group Lotus.

Proton group managing director Datuk Syed Zainal Abidin said the bulk of the financing would come from bank loans while the rest from equity injection and advertising and promotion.
