Starbucks teams up with NY Times to deliver free news stories

MORNING CUPPA WITH THE NEWS: My Starbucks Rewards loyalty members will be able to read the New York Times on their digital devices starting 2016.

A new partnership between Starbucks and The New York Times means that customers will be able to read the morning news on their digital devices in one hand, while cradling a cup of Venti coffee in the other.

The new programme, which will launch in 2016, gives customers who’ve downloaded the Starbucks mobile app free access to daily and weekend briefings from The Times
