Four in five adults now own a smartphone: study

PREVALENT: Four in five people worldwide now own a smartphone, new figures show.

Four in five people worldwide now own a smartphone, recently published figures show. 

According to the Global Web Index Device third quarter survey, 80% of online adults now possess a smartphone, while 50% own a tablet. And a huge 91% own a PC or laptop.
