The Avid Watch is the latest to throw its hat in the ring. Currently at the start of a crowd-funding campaign and accepting pre-orders at a discounted price of 99CAD (RM320), it plans to boast 30,000 golf courses and claims to be able to recognise them automatically.
If funding is successful, the Avid Watch would also offer automatic hole-advance, distance update and scoring, and give you front, center and back distance to the green, helping you to swing smart and get an edge on your buddies the next time you play.
