PLAYING a first person shooter or platforming game while riding the bus can be very challenging if you are relegated to using on-screen buttons.
To solve that problem, game accessory maker Razer has introduced its Junglecat mobile controller that is is designed specifically for iPhone gamers who want to game on the go.
At just 20mm thin, the Junglecat feels just like a regular phone protection case. Thanks to its unique slider design, it reveals and hides the gamepad, that comes with an integrated D-pad and four button gamepad, as and when you need it.
Razer says gamers won’t ever need to detach their phone from the Junglecat as its compact form keeps all buttons and ports accessible, so you can charge your phone even when it is in the case.
The forward throwing sound channels ensure that you can hear your games when gaming on the go or you can plug in your favourite pair of headphones.
Users can easily customise the controller with the Razer Junglecat iOS app that lets them remap all the buttons as well as adjust each individual button’s sensitivity.
The upcoming Junglecat companion app is also said to keep you up to date on the latest iOS7 games on the App Store that are compatible with the controller.
Razer’s Junglecat is set to be available in Malaysia by the end of July for RM299.
