PETALING JAYA: Ian Williams became the first sailor to be crowned world champion for the fifth time on the Alpari World Match Racing Tour (AWMRT).

And the 37-year-old skipper of GAC Pindar did it in style when he romped to a 3-0 win over Mathieu Richards of LunaJets in the Monsoon Cup Malaysia final at Danga Bay, Johor.
