BATU KAWAN: Defending champion Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman could not have asked for a better start to his title defence of the CP130 crown when he opened the new season of the Petronas-AAM Malaysian Cub Prix in grand fashion at the Batu Kawan circuit yesterday.
The 29-year-old veteran, a product of the Harian Metro Y-TEQ SCK Honda Racing team, warded off a strong challenge from Mohd Ramdan Rosli of Petronas Syntium Moto Yamaha AHM, to finally tame the Batu Kawan circuit for the first time in a time of 16:08.912.
