Juliani’s absence a blow to Malaysia’s women hockey team

INCHEON: Malaysia have been dealt a big blow as defender Juliani Mohamed Din has been ruled out of Monday’s opening women’s hockey Group A match against three-time defending champions China at the Seonhak Hockey Stadium.

“Even playing with our best players, it will be tough against China. But with Juliani out we will have to do some reshuffling at the back,” said national coach Mohamed Nasihin Nubli.
