PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s national cyclists will not be banned from competition if the Malaysian National Cycling Federation (MNCF) are suspended under the Sports Development Act 1997.
MNCF are facing suspension by the Sports Commissioner after the Youth and Sports Ministry found irregularities in their expenditures. MNCF have 14 days to respond to a show cause letter by Sports Commissioner Ahmad Shapawi Ismail. The due date is Sept 3.
