Rayzam stages upset in 110m hurdles at Thai Open

KUALA LUMPUR: Rayzam Shah Wan Sofian upstaged favourite and 2011 Palembang SEA Games gold medallist Jamras Rittidet of Thailand to win the gold medal in the men’s 110m hurdles with a season’s best time of 13.86 in the Thailand Open athletics championships at the Thammasat University Sports Complex on Tuesday.

The Sabah-born Rayzam, who bagged the silver in the Palembang SEA Games with 13.86, also qualified for the Myanmar SEA Games in December by equalling the qualifying mark.
