While the recent floods in the east coast of peninsular Malaysia and many coastal towns and villages received a lot of media coverage and concern due to the unprecedented scale of destruction it left in its wake, we must not forget that Kuala Lumpur and many other Malaysian cities are also susceptible to flash floods.
