More opting for home births among young parents


Dr Teoh Ren Shang, a senior resident physician at Ang Mo Kio Community Hospital with his wife Victoria and their son Xavier, who was born in the master bedroom of their HDB flat. They are among parents who opt to give birth at home, a trend that seems to be catching on. However, the Teohs acknowledged that their choice, made after plenty of research, was not without its risks.
