No dice, council tells PAS leader


GEORGE TOWN: A police report has been lodged against state PAS secretary Iszuree Ibrahim for alleging that the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) had issued licences for gambling premises here.

Iszuree, a former councillor with the then Penang Municipal Council (MPPP), is alleged to have said in an article in a Malay daily on Wednesday, that he was removed from the council because he had enquired about the alleged approval of gambling house licences by MPPP.
