Johor Ruler joins subjects for Aidilfitri prayers at new mosque


NUSAJAYA: Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar joined members of the public for Aidilfitri prayers at the newly-constructed Masjid Kota Iskandar here Friday.

A line-up of state officials and delegates also attended the prayer session, including Mentri Besar Datuk Mohamed Khaled Nordin and state religious committee chairman Abd Mutalip Abd Rahim, who welcomed the ruler upon his arrival around 8am.

Thousands of Muslims from around the area joined the half-hour prayer session.

Sultan Ibrahim's sons, including Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, also joined the prayers.
