We must ensure a bigger victory in the next general election, says PM

PETALING JAYA: Newly elected Rompin MP Datuk Hasan Arifin must continue the good work of the late Datuk Seri Dr Jamaluddin Jarjis and give his best service to the constituents, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said.

Najib, who is Barisan Nasional chairman, conceded that support for the coalition in the by-election had dropped from 66.53% in the 2013 general election to 61% this time, although Barisan won by a comfortable majority.
