Cake seller escapes knife-wielding attacker, then evades bullets


KUALA LUMPUR: A 27-year-old Myanmarese trader had a near brush with death after she was attacked by a man at Pusat Bandar Utara Selayang, Batu Caves, here.

City CID Chief Senior Asst Comm Zainuddin Ahmad said the trader was selling cakes at a pavement in front of a convenience store when a white Proton Perdana stopped alongside the road at around 6.30pm Sunday.
