KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 56,884 households in Hulu Langat and Sepang, Selangor, will experience a disruption of water supply for 36 hours starting from 8pm Wednesday to 8am Friday to facilitate emergency works to repair a broken pipe.

The main pipe that ruptured was for treated water from the Semenyih Water Treatment Plant managed by Konsortium Abass Sdn Bhd and the emergency work has to be completed soon, said Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) in a statement Tuesday.
