Cops arrest 5AM Gang members who rob cybercafes at break of dawn


IPOH: It’s good night to Gang Lima Pagi after police arrested all its six members, who have been robbing people in Bercham and Tambun. OCPD Asst Comm Sum Chang Keong said the 5AM Gang was so-called because it robbed cybercafes before the break of dawn in the two areas.“They targeted mainly cybercafes when these were about to close.

“We arrested the six, aged between 15 and 21, on Nov 21 at separate locations in Tanjung Rambutan and Bercham after receiving a tip-off from the public,” he told reporters here yesterday.
