KUALA LUMPUR: There should be no sudden increase in the price of vegetables from Cameron Highlands as the recent landslide and flash floods affected only illegal farms in the area.
Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the legitimate farms in Cameron Highlands generated about 1.5 million tonnes of vegetables per year and these farms were still running as usual.
