Met Dept denies issuing tornado alert for KL, Putrajaya

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department has denied issuing a tornado warning for the federal capital and Putrajaya.

Its deputy director-general (Climate and Weather), Alui Bahari said the public should not panic over rumours to the effect.
