IGP Khalid: No forgiveness, wait for police action

PETALING JAYA: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar has rejected any apologies from those who misused the media to spread contempt.

"No more forgiveness from anyone who misused the social network to spread contempt and instigate. Wait for police action," Khalid said on his Twit handle @KBAB51.

His message was apparently directed at Twitter user Viktor Wong, who apologised for his earlier "bastardization of @PDRMsia" message when he wrote on his handle @wonghoicheng: “Hello both @PDRMsia @KBAB51, I am retracting the suggestion on the bastardization and apologize to you and all your members of the force."

On Sunday, Wong had twitted: “Bastardization of @PDRMsia. Thanks to the ruthless @KBAB51 Henrich Himmler of Malaysia.”

The message caught Khalid's attention and he directed the Police Cyber Investigation Response Centre (PCIRC) to act against Wong's twit.
