Shah Alam MP charged with sedition against Mais and Sultan


KUALA LUMPUR: Shah Alam MP Khalid Samad was charged in the Sessions Court here with making seditious statements against the Selangor Islamic Religious Council (Mais) and the Selangor Sultan.

Khalid, 57, claimed trial to uttering the alleged seditious statements during a press conference in the Parliament Building at 11.30am on June 17.
