Nurse mistakenly inserts suppository in wrong orifice

A NURSE mistakenly inserted a suppository into a toddler’s vagina instead of her rectum during treatment to bring down the girl’s fever.

Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported that the hospital authorities in Taipei had apologised over the incident on Wednesday.

The nurse had suggested the suppository when the 18-month-old girl’s temperature rose to 41.2 °C after her admission to the hospital. Apparently, the hospital had assured the parents that the girl would be fine, adding that the nurse was an inexperienced staff.

The man pulled down his pants and answered the call of nature in the field several times, oblivious to passers-by.

A 13-year-old student known only as Sivasa said he and his friends saw the man.

“He bared his buttocks, squatted and stood up several times. He did not seem to be bothered by the surroundings,” said Sivasa, adding that they also saw some used tissue paper.

Pictures of the man easing himself were uploaded onto a website.

A week ago, a Singaporean woman was caught relieving herself in broad daylight outside the Holland Village MRT station.
