Victim of alleged sexual assault pleased that Rizalman will face justice in New Zealand

A Wellington High Court judge has lifted the suppression order on a Malaysian diplomatic aide accused of sexual assault. The accused has been named as Muhammad Rizalman Ismail, aged 38, a defence staff assistant.

PETALING JAYA: The 21-year-old victim has welcomed the decision to have former defence assistant Muhammad Rizalman Ismail tried in New Zealand.

The New Zealand Herald reported on Friday citing Green MP Jan Logie as saying that the victim was "pleased that he would be coming back to New Zealand to face justice".
