IGP: Police working with Syrian counterparts to identify 15 alleged Malaysian militants


BUKIT KAYU HITAM: The police are working with their Syrian counterparts to identify the 15 Malaysians allegedly killed over militant activities there, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said Wednesday.

"We are aware that some militants are still recruiting new members in the country.

"Investigations are still ongoing," he told a press conference after launching the Border Intelligence Unit and Northern Region Base at the Bukit Kayu Hitam police station here.
