HONG KONG model Liddy Li, said to be the other woman in the marriage of Malaysian actress Lee Sin Jie and Hong Kong director Oxide Pang, apparently told her close friends that Pang had initially promised to divorce Lee.
Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported that Li also told her friends that the couple had been sleeping in separate rooms for some time.
The affair became public knowledge recently when photographs of Li and Pang kissing and hugging were splashed across the media.
Subsequently, Pang rushed to Malaysia to seek forgiveness from Lee. This, however, led to Li calling up Pang to berate him for lying to her.
Lee and Pang have issued a joint statement saying that they would work on their marriage.

The baby was delivered in the car in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, at about 5pm on Thursday, China Press reported.
His mother, a 29-year-old foreigner, had called her Indonesian husband to tell him that she was about to deliver as he was on his way home with his employer.
He rushed over to pick her up and send her to a nearby maternity clinic. However, the clinic refused to take her in, claiming that there was no doctor on duty.
Traffic was at its peak then as it was the rush hour.
They eventually flagged down a passer-by and asked him to call for an ambulance.
Meanwhile, a medical assistant gave instructions over the telephone to the employer on how to help the pregnant woman.
The newborn arrived within 10 minutes. An ambulance reached the scene 30 minutes later.

China Press reported that Yap Chan Hwa claimed that a couple, who had shown interest to adopt his girl, had taken the baby for a medical examination in December last year.
However, the couple, who claimed to be from Pontian, Johor, went missing and never returned the baby, Yap said.
“Initially, the woman called up claiming that my daughter has Down Syndrome. She then said she would return the baby. Since then, I have lost contact with her,” he said during a press conference in Johor Baru on Thursday.
A police report has been lodged.
