Police still checking if Filipina hotel worker had links to Semporna kidnapping

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Hamza Taib said released hotel worker Marcy Darawan @ Mimi, 40, will be sent back to the Philippines once police confirm she is not linked to the kidnapping.

"If we are sure that Mimi was not involved in the Singamata resort kidnap, she will be sent back to her family in the Philippines," he said on Saturday.
