Detainee contracted meningitis, says ministry

PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry has reported one confirmed meningococcal meningitis case at the Jalan Ayer Molek detention centre in Johor Baru.

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the case involved a detainee, a Malaysian Chinese aged 43.
