Bloody aftermath: One of the two boys injured due to the fall.
BENTONG: A prank by two Form Three students of SM Agama Pelangai ended with both of them falling from the first floor of their hostel block.
Both of the students were seriously injured in the 6.40pm incident on Wednesday and were warded at the Sultan Ahmad Shah Hospital in Temerloh.
Muhamad Izzudin Mohd Saadan suffered injuries to the face and back, while Hamirul Haqimi Hanafi had facial and head injuries.
Bentong OCPD Supt Mansor Mohd Nor said that initial investigations showed that one of the students was playfully pretending to throw the other over a partition wall.
However, the prank went awry when the two friends slipped and tumbled over the wall while clutching hands.
“They landed in a concrete ditch below,” said Supt Mansor.
The school authorities informed the parents, who accompanied the boys to the hospital.
