KUALA LUMPUR: Eighteen motorcycles and a car were engulfed in a blaze that swept through the parking area of Block E of the Intan Baiduri, People's Housing Project (PPR) near Batu Caves.
A representative from the Kuala Lumpur fire control centre said a distress call was received at around 6.30am on Saturday, alerting them of the fire.
Some 25 fire fighters from the Jinjang, Sentul and Hang Tuah stations were deployed to the scene to quell the flames.
The fire was fully extinguished at around 8am.
No one was hurt in the incident.
The state fire and rescue department are investigating the estimated loss and cause of the fire.
