RAWANG: A Form Three student from a religious residential school in Rawang has reportedly died as a result of an alleged fight among students in the school Tuesday night.
Deputy Education Minister P. Kamalanathan (pic) who confirmed the incident to the media on Wednesday said the case was under police investigation.
"We are very saddened by the incident.
“The ministry will ensure that a full investigation is carried out immediately," Kamalanathan told reporters after launching the national pre-Teacher's Day celebration at Sekolah Menengah Sains Selangor.
He added that the ministry has instructed the officials from the district education office to cooperate with the police on the investigation.
