PETALING JAYA: Karpal Singh, who died in a road accident along the North-South Expressway near Gua Tempurung, Kampar, had insisted on travelling by car at night to Penang so that he could prepare for a court case later in the day.
His son, Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo, 41, said Karpal who left here late on Wednesday night wanted to be in Penang, his home state, by morning.
