Sinkhole appears on site of lightning arrester collapse in Penang's Macalister Road

GEORGE TOWN: A small sinkhole appeared on Macalister Road here, where a lightning arrester collapsed in June, slowing traffic to a snail's pace.

The small hole measuring about 0.5m in diameter and one metre deep, appeared in the middle of the road in front of the Pakistani Mosque at about 1.30pm Wednesday.
