Jaafar continues to make delicacy based on late wife's recipes

BALIK PULAU: Market trader Jaafar Luud lost his wife two years ago but keeps her memories alive by selling over 20 traditional Malay cookies based on her recipes.

Jaafar operates a stall at the Balik Pulau market complex and even named one the cookies “Ombak Rindu” (Waves of Longing) in remembrance of his wife Dzaharin Saad who died in 2011.
