GEORGE TOWN: The former aide of a senior politician is in serious condition after being shot twice in the head by a gunman outside a coffeeshop.
Tan Hock Chin, 46, who was also Nibong Tebal 1Malaysia Voluntary Patrol Squad captain, was having drinks with several friends when he was shot at close range by a man wearing a motorcycle helmet at 11.05pm on Tuesday in Sungai Daun, Nibong Tebal.
