Lahad Datu: The real sovereigns of a land called Sabah

After all that has taken place in the 1960s, it is futile for the Sulu Sultan to stake his claim on Sabah. He can file his private claims before a court but not force the Philippine state to go to war for him.

WE should be wary of talking about North Borneo or Sabah as if it were just a piece of real estate without inhabitants.
