Ministry: 300 shot dead by cops over last five years


ALMOST 300 people have been shot dead by the police over the last five years and half of them were Indonesian nationals, says the Home Ministry.

According to police records, 298 people, comprising 296 men and two women, aged bet­ween 16 and 60, were shot by police from 2007 until August this year.
