Karpal gaffe puts Guan Eng in a tight spot

GEORGE TOWN: A near slip of the tongue by DAP chairman Karpal Singh put his party secretary-general Lim Guan Eng in a “tight” spot re­­garding the future prime minister’s post.

When thanking Lim for inviting him to the launching ceremony of free WiFi hotspots at the Air Itam market, the Bukit Gelugor MP almost uttered “prime minister” instead of “chief minister”.
