Police: There’ll be no cover-up in probe over boxer’s assault

JOHOR BARU: There will be no cover-up into the investigations involving a VIP's son who allegedly assaulted national boxer Muhamad Farkhan Mohd Haron, 24, who is still in hospital, state police chief Deputy Commissioner Datuk Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff said.

Apparently, the VIP and another individual were also beaten up during Sunday's brawl at Taman Johor Jaya. Both are warded at a government hospital.
