Karpal Singh's appeal in sedition against Perak Sultan case rejected

PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Court has struck out veteran lawyer Karpal Singh's appeal against the Court of Appeal order for him to enter his defence for allegedly having uttered seditious words against the Sultan of Perak.

The five-man Bench lead by Chief Justice Arifin Zakaria made a unanimous decision Monday to allow the DPP's motion to strike out Karpal's appeal against the Court of Appeal decision.
