LRT, Monorail ticket-vending machines to accept new coins from next month

KUALA LUMPUR: Ticket vending machines at LRT and KL Monorail stations will start accepting the new Bank Negara Malaysia coins from next month.

Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad (Prasarana) group director for rail division Khairani Mohamed said the company was working overtime to ensure that the new coins could be accepted by their machines at the earliest possible date.
