The efforts and hard work in training paid off for the Malaysian 5-a-side blind football (B1) team after they clinched the bronze medal in the inaugural Hong Kong Open 5-A-Side Blind Football Tournament.

Played in a league format where three points were awarded to the winning team, the national team managed to score six points, trailing being undefeated champion’s China, who topped the table with 12 points and Thailand with nine points.
