Dinner honours vendors' years of service in the newspaper industry

STAR Publications (M) Bhd group managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai has hailed newspaper vendors in Perak as the unsung heroes in the publication industry.

In his speech during the 49th Perak Indian Newspapers Distributors Association annual dinner at the Kinta Indian Association hall in Ipoh on Saturday, Wong said readers would not be able to get their daily dose of news if not for the vendors.
