Still in the hearts of many

FOND memories of the late Datuk Father Arthur Julien, the founder of SMJK (C) Heng Ee in Penang, still linger in the minds of his former students.

Recounting tales of his schooling days, Yeoh Oon Soo, 52, who is the school’s current Parent-Teacher Association chairman, described Father Julien as a person who believed that everyone, including the poor, should be given equal access to education.
