THE Livescape Group goes to sea as they unveil “It’s The Ship”, set to become Asia’s largest international music festival at sea.

Come November, the pioneers behind Future Music Festival Asia will present an unprecedented, blockbuster event concept destined to rival Asia’s highest profile festivals.

It’s The Ship will be a five-day, four-night, jam-packed experience aboard the award-winning Voyager of the Seas Royal Caribbean cruise liner, embarking from Singapore in November 2014, cruising up the Straits of Malacca to tropical Langkawi for the ultimate beach party of epic proportions.

International and regional headliners will perform on multiple stages full steam ahead in a first-ever journey of this magnitude in Asia. A press conference will be held today in Singapore at which the full artiste line-up, exact dates, pricing and other surprises will be revealed by the organisers.

Undoubtedly set to attract EDM, rock and hip hop fans across the region,It’s The Ship is expected to attract more than 3,800 avid passengers as it showcases an unparalleled, must-see line-up of DJs and artists.

“These are exciting times ahead for all of us at Livescape and we hope music fans in Singapore and across Asia will share this sentiment as well after hearing this announcement,” said Livescape Group chief executive officer Muhammad Iqbal Ameer.

It’s The Ship was born out of an idea of wanting to provide music fans in the region with a unique, one-of-a-kind festival experience never before seen on this part of the world, by merging both the relaxed atmosphere of a vacation and the fun experience of a world-class music festival into one.

Apart from live music blasting through multiple stages, those on board will also be able to enjoy complimentary use of 80% of the cruise facilities including a 200-foot rock climbing wall, 10 pools, a first-ever ice rink at sea and other jaw-dropping activities to be announced soon.
