THE Penang government’s move to ‘jealously protect’ its popular hawker fare by proposing to ban foreigners from being the ‘main cooks’ has drawn mixed reactions from the public.
A Penang food blogger, Ken, who runs www.kenhuntfood.com or Ken Hunts Food opined that a ban to prevent foreigners as “main cooks” might not be appropriate.
