Group says aye to rezoning of fishing areas

The Penang Fishermen Association (PFA) has thrown its support behind the rezoning of fishing zones announced by the Department of Fisheries Malaysia.

Its president Md Zainol Ajamin said the rezoning was long overdue as coastal fishermen in the state numbering close to 4,000 had been putting up with encroachment of trawlers into their zones.
