Cracked walls alarm residents

HOMEOWNERS at a high-end residence in Hulu Kelang, Ampang are up in arms over a development project on the neighbouring land, which they claimed has caused substantial damage to several houses. They are also worried that a poorly built retaining wall might collapse.

Datuk K. Thanarajah, 45, chairman of the Joint Management Body (JMB) for Sunway Rydgeway, an exclusive neighbourhood in Puncak Melawati, said a developer cleared the adjacent plot of land in mid-2012 for another high-end residential project.
