Women’s ice hockey gets a boost with fifth edition of try out sessions

The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Girl’s Ice Hockey Weekend was staged for the fifth year running in yet another effort to promote the cause of women’s ice hockey in the country.

Held on Oct 10 and 11 at the Sunway Pyramid ice-skating rink, the Malaysian Ice Hockey Federation (MIHF) organised two fun-filled free ice hockey try out sessions for girls five to 18 years of age of varying skill levels.
