Three foreign vessels detained

KOTA TINGGI: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has detained two foreign-registered vessels for illegal oil transferring activities and one vessel for failing to obtain permission to anchor in Pengerang waters here.

Tanjung Sedili maritime enforcement chief Captain Amran Daud said the two vessels were spotted by an agency boat patrolling the area at around 3pm on Monday, some 2.3 nautical miles south-east of Tanjung Ayam.
